Very helpful to learn the night sky.
Very helpful to learn the night sky.
The best app I have ever had. A look in to space is mind blowing
Great program. Easy to use
This is a great tool to have in the field. The compass doesnt work if you are at a dark sky site with no cell signal , but it s a great way to learn your way around the sky
Excellent app! Love the compass feature to point at the sky and learn
Fun interactive app with amazing amount of information.
Thorough and thought out!
A nice app on the iPhone but where is support for the ipad2??!
The whole lineage of Distant Suns apps have been awesome, this version is no exception.
This has been updating and trying to install for over two weeks. It wont update! I cant remove it from my iPad! Useless and stuck with it!
As a physics teacher I recommend this to any and all of my students. It works flawlessly and is great fun. Thank you so much!
It took me about an hour to get it all figured out and set up the way I like, and it took that long probably b/c Im a newby to astronomy. For the last month or so it has been the only app (besides the phone) that I use EVERY DAY- or, um, night. I cant say enough good things about this app. I love it so much I would marry it, if I was into that sort of thing. Which Im not. Update: its been a couple years since I wrote that review. I have since then used many other astro apps but I keep going back to this one because of its ease of use and tons of features. Id like to give six stars.
This app is great, works offline, and has many useful features and settings, definitely worth my .99$ I gave it 4 stars because it doesnt support iPhone 5 and its 4" screen
Pretty neat app. Although I find it a bit more confusing to use than Google Sky, its still fun to use. No real problems encountered yet.
It gives you everything you need to watch the sky and a bit more
I like this app very much. Its nice to be able to see and know whats up there, especially regarding our own planets.
Ok
My favorite - super cool
What happened to the ground picture that I loved? Now all I can get is a line indicating the horizon. Give me the choice back. This causes me to loose three of the stars I used to have for my star mapping favorite. This had been my favorite for several years. Now Ilooking around again.
I know this app has gone through numerous revisions, some with plus or minus points... Overall, this has been my favorite app, as it displays TONS of information on every star in the sky, with little effort. I do get weirded out that I can only rotate the sky along certain planes... But its based on math and physics, I suppose. One critique, is that I wish the moon was clearer (not really a complaint.)
